The system provides the opportunity to run backdated billing. This option should be done after all utilities and/or additional recoveries are loaded as well as the budget amount is checked to ensure the correct amounts are loaded for the backdated billing.
1. Run backdated billing
Navigation: Community Level > Finances > Run Billing
Once the Billing page is open, scroll down to the bottom of the page to insert the backdated billing date. Select the billing date (this date will appear on the invoices).
- Billing date: The date on which the Invoice is raised, this will usually be on the 1st of the month.
- Scheduled run date: This date is the date selected on which the billing run compiled will be sent to the owners.
Please remember to untick the Send email automatically tick box (this will ensure that the clients will not receive the backdated invoices).
Click on Run Scheduled Billing, the invoices will be created in the back end.
