Communication can be sent out from WeconnectU on the Global overview or from a specific community.
1. Global Overview
Navigation: Global Overview > Communicate
1.1. Send
- Communities: You can send out communication to multiple communities at a time, by selecting the communities from the drop-down menu.
- Send to: Select who the recipients are that need to receive the communication. You will be able to select all, or specifically, owners, rental agents, directors/ trustees, Attorneys, Complex Managers, Occupants, or Bondholders.
Important: When selecting ALL, the communication will go out to ALL RECIPIENTS - owners, occupants, rental agents, trustees, attorneys, bondholders, and Complex Managers. |
- Subject: This will be the description/ heading of the communication. Normally the same subject you would've used in an Outlook email.
- Attachments: If you have any supporting documents to send out with the communication, you can attach them by clicking on "Click to select Attachment" or by dragging and dropping the document.
- Next, you have a text box where you will populate the body of the communication.
Once you are happy, you can click on Send Communication.
Important: Once communication is sent from WeconnectU, you cannot retrieve or cancel the communication that went out. |
1.2. Archive
The system allows you to view any historical communication sent from WeconnectU.
On the Archive tab, you will be able to view the following:
- Sent date: When the communication was sent out to the recipient
- Community: For which community the communication was for
- Subject: What the communication was about
- Sent to: Who the recipient was that received the communication
- Sent by: Who sent out the communication
- Status: This will indicate if the communication was delivered, and read, or if there were any errors in sending out the communication
- Resend: You will have the option to resend this communication
- Download: You will be able to download the communication in PDF
2. Community Level
Navigation: Global Overview > Communicate
2.1. Send
- Send From: You can choose from which email the communication must be sent; either the default email address that was set up on the Global Settings or the email address of the person currently logged into the community.
- Send to: Select who the recipients are that need to receive the communication. You will be able to select all, or specifically, owners, rental agents, directors/ trustees, Attorneys, Complex Managers, Occupants, or Bondholders.

- Type: On a community level, you can choose to either send a Mail or SMS
- Subject: This will be the description/ heading of the communication. Normally the same subject you would've used in an Outlook email.
- Attachments: If you have any supporting documents to send out with the communication, you can attach them by clicking on "Click to select Attachment" or by dragging and dropping the document.
- Next, you have a text box where you will populate the body of the communication.
Note: On this page, you will notice the Company or Community email header and footer pulling through, if this was setup for that specific community. |
Once you are happy, you can click on Send Communication.

2.2. Archive
The system allows you to view any historical communication sent from WeconnectU for the specific community you are logged into.
On the Archive tab, you will be able to view the following:

2.3. Settings
Here you can upload the communication's header logo, email header, and footer.
