A tenant is a customer who is renting from the owner of a unit and is being charged directly by the Body Corporate or Home Owners Association for something like utilities or admin charges.

1. Set up Tenant Billing in the Community

Navigation: Community Level > Settings > Default Billing

Our first step is to activate tenant billing in the community.

Scroll down to the line item Tenant Billing and tick the box next to it. Click on Save.

2. How to Add a Tenant

Navigation: Community > Units > Unit Details

Now that our community is set up for tenant billing, we can go ahead and log into the community.

Find the owner you would like to add a tenant for and click on the icon that looks like a person.

Complete the Pop-Up screen with the Tenant details and click Save.

3. Billing a Tenant

Navigation: Community > Finance > Run Billing

Simply click on the boxes that need to be billed to the tenant.

Also notice that when issuing warnings and penaltiesthis can now be sent directly to the tenant.
